This free to attend conference and exhibition, features three theatres across the two-day show and promises to deliver a wealth of insightful discussions, expert insights and networking opportunities for thought-leaders and professionals looking to generate, store, manage and distribute their own power and heat.
With a focus on the latest advancements, trends, and challenges in distributed energy, The Distributed Energy Show conference agenda offers a comprehensive line-up of keynote presentations, panel discussions and networking sessions. Attendees can expect to gain valuable knowledge, exchange ideas and forge meaningful connections with industry peers. Our 2024 speaker faculty includes a stimulating line-up of thought-leaders from across the industry, including prestigious representatives from network operators, large energy users, regulators, research institutions and industry experts.
The conference on day one (13th March) starts with a keynote session on ‘The Future of the Decentralised Energy Sector’ with speakers from The Association for Decentralised Energy, National Grid Electricity Distribution, Octopus Energy, Department for Energy Security & Net Zero, Innovate UK and bp pulse. This session will provide an insightful perspective on the current state of the market, the regulatory landscape, policies, and emerging technologies. Together, these elements will collectively shape the trajectory of the distributed energy sector in the present and the future.
Other sessions on day one (13th March) include, ‘The Energy Flexibility Enterprise: Maximising the Profitability of Your Energy Assets’, ‘Vehicle to Grid Technology (V2G) Revolutionising Energy Dynamics’ and ‘Localised Energy Systems: Potential Opportunities within a More Locally Driven Decarbonisation Journey’.
Day two of the conference (14th March) features sessions including ‘AI and Digitalisation in the Energy Sector’ with speakers from Siemens, Ofgem, UK Power Networks and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. ‘Unlocking the Power of Hydrogen’ and ‘Industrial Carbon and Energy Reduction – Where is the Low Hanging Fruit?’
This year we are also introducing a third theatre to the show, which will showcase compelling individual company presentations, providing a unique perspective and delving deep into the latest topics from this fast-paced industry.
An estimated 120+ companies will be exhibiting at The Distributed Energy Show, including Siemens, Tesla, Bosch, Clarke Energy, Conrad Energy, National Gas Metering, Piclo, Powell UK Ltd, Vattenfall UK, and Wilson Power Solutions Limited and an expected 2,500 buyers spanning the entire supply chain will attend.
The Distributed Energy Show will feature the UK’s widest array of technologies for onsite and localised heat and power generation alongside the infrastructure, software, and components necessary to connect to the network and implement a low-cost, low-carbon strategy.
